About this game
The whole thing feels like a Christmas dinner where someone keeps changing the recipe halfway through, and you're not sure if you're eating turkey or tiramisu. The 1958 section has this fuzzy, almost nostalgic filter that makes the explicit stuff feel weirder, like finding a nudie mag in your grandma's attic. Then it jumps to modern day and the art shifts, cleaner lines, and suddenly you're picking dialogue options that feel like they were written by someone who just discovered the word "moist" and won't let it go.
I got stuck on one mini game for way too long. It's a simple click the right spot thing but the hitbox is about as forgiving as a tax audit. There's a scene with unwrapping, and the game asks you to trace a ribbon, and I swear my mouse cursor was exactly on the line but nope, try again. Meanwhile the character is just standing there, half dressed, looking impatient. It broke the mood so hard I started thinking about whether people in 1958 actually used that much tinsel. They probably didn't. The historical accuracy of tinsel distribution is not something I expected to ponder during an adult game but here we are.
The sex scenes themselves, when you finally navigate the choices correctly, have a certain comic panel rhythm that works. A close up of a hand gripping a thigh, then a face with that specific "oh" expression, then the money shot panel. You know the one. The dialogue during these moments swings wildly between surprisingly hot and "did a robot write this pillow talk." One character says something about unwrapping their "present" and I physically cringed but then the next panel was genuinely well composed and I forgot about it. The whole thing is a mess of time periods and mixed signals, like someone threw two different scripts in a blender and hit pulse instead of puree.
