About this game
The ring. It’s always about the ring, isn’t it. Not some jewelry to toss into a volcano, but a Ring of Erotic Power, which is so on the nose I had to laugh. You’re the Darklord, back from exile, and your grand strategy for conquering Erolandia isn’t just swords and orcs. It’s fucking. Literally. The magic system runs on sex, so you’re rampaging across the map to enslave princesses and elves, turning them into what the game calls cock-hungry nymphomaniacs. The first girl’s training is a whole thing, a dungeon management sim where you break her down through a series of escalating acts. You can skip it with a cheat button if you’ve done it before, which is a mercy because the clicking gets tedious. The sound effect for stat increases is this little ding that started to haunt me.
The writing is... look, it’s a Pinktea game. If you know, you know. The dialogue when a slave’s hunger drops below 30 is a nice touch, they actually ask for food, which is more personality than I expected. I got stuck for a bit in the summoning room after getting the Elfstone from the princess. The Warg scene with Silaira in Muraz is where things get properly monstrous, and then you can summon an elf slave for more scenes. The battle for the Capital felt like an afterthought, a quick text blurb between the real content. I wish the management aspects had more bite, but they won’t ever deepen it. The game saves automatically, which saved my ass when my browser crashed. Oh, and if buttons stop working, you have to fiddle with Flash storage settings, a whole ritual of right-clicking and allowing local data. Very 2016. The thunder clap during summoning made me jump once. I spilled my drink. Never fixed that sticky key.
