You ever play a game where the whole plot kicks off because someone can't follow basic lab safety? I'm not even mad. I'm impressed. Having a HARD Time starts with you, a chemistry student, and your best friend, who apparently treats a fume hood like a suggestion box. Something goes wrong. Very wrong. And suddenly your body is doing things that would make a bioethics committee spontaneously combust.

The CG hentai scenes are where this gets properly unhinged. There's this one moment early on, right after the accident, where you're just trying to have a normal conversation and the protagonist's new... situation... makes itself known. The artist really understood the assignment. The way the clothes strain. The expressions. It's not just anatomy practice, it's chaos theory applied to a college dorm. I spent way too long on that one shot of the lab coat. Don't ask why.

The visual novel part is weirdly chill in between the madness. You walk around campus, you talk to people. The writing has this deadpan delivery that makes the absurdity hit harder. I wish there was a bit more to do in the lab itself though. You get this whole setup about experiments and then it's mostly a backdrop for the transformation. A missed opportunity for some truly cursed crafting mechanics. But whatever.

Then there's a scene with a beaker that I'm not going to describe but I haven't looked at my own kitchen glasses the same way since. The game knows exactly what it is. A silly, spicy ride that doesn't pretend to be deep. The student life setting just makes everything feel more ridiculous. Like, you still have exams. While dealing with this. Priorities.
