About this game
The voice acting, or what passes for it, is a loop of gasps and whines that sounds like someone stepped on a cat's tail and recorded it on a Nokia from 2003. I actually laughed the first time the pink haired character got caught in a spike pit. Not a sexy laugh. A genuine, this is so broken it's funny laugh. You move this anime trap across a flat grid, one tile at a time, using arrow keys. Simple enough. The whole thing has a weird, bootleg My Little Pony color palette that clashes with the hardcore content in a way that's almost hypnotic.
The game is basically a series of rooms where you navigate toward a door. Miss a step and a static image pops up with that awful audio loop. The traps are the whole point, obviously. There's a weird one with a slime wall that has a suction sound effect I swear is ripped from a plunger commercial. The animations are nonexistent, just a slideshow of poses that don't quite connect, like a flipbook missing half its pages. I spent ten minutes on one room with moving blocks, not because it was hard, but because the collision detection is so janky you'll slide into a torture scene when you're clearly a full tile away. The grid is a liar.
I couldn't figure out how to mute the damn thing. The moaning gets stuck in a stuttering loop if you die too fast, creating this accidental ASMR nightmare. Honestly, the raw, unpolished sound is the most memorable part. It's a broken arcade game that forgot to be a game and just wants to punish you with ear torture and explicit pngs. The "pink hair" character has one expression, a kind of vacant stare that doesn't change whether she's walking or, well, you know. If you want to get the most out of this, just hold down a direction into a wall of spikes on purpose and let the audio glitch out into a corrupted mess. That's the real experience.
