Birchfall. Even the name sounds like a sneeze. You got this couple, right, fresh off the bus, and the whole thing's got that weird AI sheen to the art where the fingers sometimes look like melted candles. Not complaining, it's part of the charm, like finding a typo in a dirty magazine. The guy's got a new job, the girl's got... well, she's got a lot of time to wander around in a low-cut top, and the game is just waiting for you to click on the next obvious thing.

The spanking scene comes out of nowhere. One minute they're unpacking boxes, the next she's bent over his knee and the sound effect is this wet *thwack* that my headphones really didn't need to pick up with such clarity. The ahegao faces are dialed up to eleven, tongues out, eyes rolling back, the whole shebang. It's so over the top that I snorted my drink. The teasing is constant, a slow burn of her "accidentally" flashing the neighbor while getting the mail, and the point-and-click of it all makes you feel like a creep with a really specific cursor. I spent way too long just clicking on a potted plant to see if the protagonist would comment on it. He didn't. Disappointing.

The romance is there, I guess, buried under the creampie finish that seems to be the default ending for every single encounter. It's like the couple's entire emotional vocabulary is just different angles of vaginal sex. There's a moment where they're on the couch, and she's giving him oral, and the dialogue tries to be sweet, something about "our new life," but the visual is just her head bobbing with that vacant, cross-eyed look. It's jarring in the best way. And the whole thing looks like it was rendered on a phone from 2016, deliberately, which I kind of respect. It's got that janky Source Filmmaker energy where the skin textures are too shiny and the animations snap into place instead of flowing. But then. I forgot what I was talking about. Oh right, the sex. It's not a slow burn. You're there to get wrecked by Lady D in increasingly elaborate ways and the game does not pretend otherwise. The dystopian setting is basically "horny jail but make it gothic." There's a superpowers tag which I think refers to her ability to make your character forget he has a mission the second her dress comes off. You get a creampie ending that feels almost romantic in a deeply fucked up way, like a monster girl dating sim where the date is just her owning you completely. I wish there was more of a game here, like actual choices, but that's not the point. The point is female domination where you're a bug and she's the windshield. And honestly? Sometimes that's enough. You're watching this 22 year old, fully transformed, getting hitched to a cart, and everyone is just nodding like this is a normal Tuesday. The first real scene where Finn "inspects" the new acquisition. He's checking her... fittings. The bit in her mouth. How she responds to the reins. Magdalene is right there, giving pointers. It's not even framed as a hardcore BDSM scene at first, it's this clinical, ownerly evaluation that somehow makes your skin flush hotter than any obvious slave smut.
