About this game
There’s a roughness to this thing that’s almost honest. Not deliberately unpolished in that cute indie way, but like someone just... forgot to make a menu. Or maybe it’s there and I missed it, clicking around like a fool. First thing you see is Ryuko, uniform unmistakable, and the tentacles aren’t wasting time with ambiance. No slow corruption build-up. Straight to it.
The only controls are arrows at the sides. That’s it. Clicking through feels weirdly detached, like flipping channels on an old TV. One of the loops has this oral scene where the animation stutters in exactly the wrong way, right as her expression shifts. Ruins the rhythm. But I rewound it like five times anyway. Not because it’s sexy, at first. Because the loop glitch made me curious. Then you notice how the teasing angle works, how the tentacles sort of prod and retreat before the whole cumshot bit, and there’s a logic to the violence that’s missing from cleaner games. The facial detail afterwards is just... sticky, in the spiritual sense. Very matter-of-fact about it.
Forgot to mention the sound. No, wait, there isn’t any. That’s probably the worst part. A single wet squelch would've done wonders. You keep waiting for it, even though you know it’s not coded in. Makes the silence feel humid. There’s a scene switch and suddenly the angle is way too close, tentacles doing something the uniform barely obscures, and the lack of music turns the whole thing into a specimen display. Which is honestly more Lovecraftian than any cosmic horror lecture. Not the tentacles. The stillness. The way you just... watch.
The cumshot doesn’t miss, obviously. But the symbolism of the uniform partly staying on, implying Senketsu’s dormant or perverted role here, is more interesting to pick at than the actual loops. I guess that’s the kill la kill itch getting scratched subtextually. Weird how that works.
