About this game
Weird how a logic game tries to make you blush, right? You’d think matching buildings to upgrade your Corps HQ would feel dry, but then there’s this undertone of tension that just sneaks up on you. It’s not even subtle - the way the rooms unlock like they’re breathing against your neck is almost unfair. I got distracted once because the merge grid shifted and suddenly, instead of more roofing tiles, there’s Nezuko framed in that dim, pinkish glow. You don’t expect a puzzle about resource placement to make you hesitate before clicking again, but it does. That teasing hint before the next image cracks open… it’s ridiculous. And frustrating. And exactly what gets stuck in your head when you’re supposed to be checking your Google Sheets dashboards or whatever boring grown-up thing.
I swear the balancing is off though. The logic of merging isn’t quite clean - sometimes it rewards you with something spicy for no clear reason, sometimes you grind for minutes and get nothing except one of those dull hallways filled with crates. But even when I curse at the damn screen, I can’t stop reorganizing stuff for that maybe-next glimpse. Like Kanao darting on-screen, her hair flickering almost too slow, eyes looking like they’ve seen what you can’t show. She’s perfection, except when she repeats the same animation twice and it kills the mood, but somehow that imperfection keeps me watching. Shinobu’s segment breaks the rhythm completely; it’s gentle, deliberate, and actually smarter designed than I expected. Though I admit, I wish the sound didn’t loop there - it’s such a small thing but once you notice it, good luck pretending you didn’t.
There’s no real comparison between this and other demon-flavored puzzle spins; this one has that fake innocence, pretends to care about your brain before pulling at other parts. Maybe I imagined half of its appeal, maybe I didn’t. Doesn’t matter. Even when you try to analyze why it works, you end up staring too long; and when you decide it isn’t worth it anymore, that’s somehow when it gives you exactly what you wanted.
