The soundtrack for Superpowered is basically a study in how a single bad loop can drill into your skull. There's this one synth track during the school sections, right? It sounds like a ringtone from a phone that fell into a toilet. I started timing my jerk sessions around the moments that track faded out, which is not a thing I should be doing. The voice acting is mostly grunts and moans but they’re mixed so loud compared to the music. You’ll be trying to sneak a peek up a skirt and suddenly a moan blasts through your headphones like a foghorn. I had to frantically adjust my volume mixer more than I actually used the mouse.

The game throws you into this academy with a nervous adoptive mom and a weird vibe. You’ve got these mind control powers, which is the whole excuse for the sandbox groping. The power meter feels like it was designed by someone who hates you. It drains so fast during a footjob scene with the track star girl that I barely saw her toes curl before the screen went grey. You think you're playing a simulator about fixing a marriage and then suddenly there's mind control and you're watching your wife get railed by some guy named Marcus while a doctor takes notes. The cuckold stuff isn't just there for shock value, it's woven into the conspiracy which is a choice I guess. Some paths have Sophie's tits practically spilling out of everything while she explains how you were never enough, and the writing actually makes you feel the humiliation. The virgin tag is misleading though, Alex is married, but he's so inexperienced and pathetic that it might as well count.
