About this game
Cosplay convention. Magic portal. BAM, you're sucked into some pervy fantasy world where everyone's dressed like they raided a hentai bargain bin. Con-Quest knows exactly what it is, a collab between devs and the horny hivemind on Newgrounds, and that chaotic energy bleeds through every pixel. Emily's art style is that specific flavor of western cartoon smut, all exaggerated curves and faces that twist into the dumbest expressions during the lewd bits. The parody hits hard, catching references to other games and anime tropes, then twisting them until they snap into something obscene.
The combat is turn based but honestly who cares. It's the vehicle to get you into increasingly ridiculous situations. One minute you're fighting a slime girl who's more interested in dissolving your clothes than your HP, the next you're negotiating with a busty elf mage who can't keep her robe closed. The dialogue is pure shitpost energy. The costume and cosplay tag isn't just for show, the whole game is a love letter to dressing up and then getting absolutely ruined. There's a scene with a catgirl that made me snort my drink, the way the sprite work just gives up on subtlety. The humor is juvenile in the best way, it knows you're here to see cartoon tits and puns so bad they circle back to genius.
The episodic thing is a double edged sword. You get to the end of the current build just as a new character with an insane design shows up, and then it's a cliffhanger. Blue balls of the narrative variety. The patreon link is right there, taunting you. The game feels deliberately unpolished in places, like a sketch that got out of hand, but that's the charm. It's a community fever dream. Some UI elements are clunky, clicking through inventory feels like wrestling a greased pig, but then a character breaks the fourth wall to make a joke about the game's own jank and you forgive it. The magic system is just an excuse for spell effects that look suspiciously like something else. Don't expect a deep RPG, expect a comedy sketch that lets you occasionally press a button to see a succubus's top fall off.
